Erwin Georg Paul Dirr (born June 15, 1899 in Dettingen an der Erms , † November 5, 1936 in Calw ) was a German politician .

Life

From 1921 to 1922 Erwin Dirr attended the state administration course. Later he became mayor of Stammheim in the Oberamt Calw . In 1933 he received the office of First Alderman of the City of Calw. At the same time he became director of the municipal association of the Teinach power station. In this function he was also a member of the supervisory board of Elektrizitäts -versorgung Württemberg AG.

In 1929 Dirr joined the NSDAP . He developed into one of the leading party activists in the Oberamt Calw and beyond in the entire Black Forest region. He was SA - Sturmbannführer , later Obersturmbannführer and founded the NSDAP organ " Black Forest Guard ", which was published in Calw. Since 1932 he was NSDAP district leader of Calw, from March 22, 1933 honorary sub-commissioner for the upper offices of Calw, Freudenstadt , Leonberg , Nagold and Neuenbürg .

Erwin Dirr was the son of the farmer and bricklayer Karl Eugen Dirr (1873–1958) and his wife Marie Friederike geb. Wurster in Dettingen an der Erms. He had three siblings. In 1922 he married Wilhelmine Elisabeth Kost. The couple had four children.
