Erwin Holl

Erwin Holl (born October 20, 1957 in Abtsgmünd ) is a German painter and graphic artist.

Life

Holl studied from 1978 to 1984 at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart and from 1979 to 1983 art history at the University of Stuttgart . From 1986 to 1987 he received a DAAD scholarship for Naples, and in 1988 a scholarship for the Cité Internationale des Arts Paris . This was followed in 1992 by an ART 3 scholarship, Valence, and in 1994/1995 by the Deutsche Akademie Villa Massimo , Rome. Since 2007 he has been a member of the art commission “Art in Architecture”, Baden-Württemberg.

Erwin Holl is a member of the German Association of Artists . He lives in Stuttgart.
