Parchim District Court

The Parchim district court was a court of ordinary jurisdiction , most recently in the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania , in the district of the Schwerin district court . It was repealed on May 11, 2015 through the reform of the judicial structure and converted into a branch in the Ludwigslust district court district .

    With the dissolution of the court, all cities and municipalities were incorporated into the district of the Ludwigslust district court.

    The branch is located at Moltkeplatz 2 in Parchim city center, where the district court was previously located. The listed building was built in 1935/36 by the architect Paul Schultze-Naumburg and previously served as a district office.

    Superior courts

    The District Court of Schwerin was superordinate to the District Court of Parchim . The competent higher regional court was the higher regional court in Rostock .

    With the conversion of the local court into a branch of the Ludwigslust local court, the jurisdiction of the Schwerin Regional Court and the Rostock Higher Regional Court remains.
