Grevesmühlen District Court
The Grevesmühlen District Court was a court of the ordinary jurisdiction of the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in the district of the Schwerin Regional Court . It was repealed on July 13, 2015 by the reform of the judicial structure and converted into a branch in the district court district of Wismar .
Seat and District of the Court
The court had its seat in the city of Grevesmühlen .
The judicial district included the area of the following cities and towns.

With the dissolution of the court, all cities and municipalities were incorporated into the district of the Wismar District Court .
The former Gadebusch District Court , which had been a branch of the Grevesmühlen District Court since January 1, 1998, was closed on September 15, 2000 to reduce costs.

The court was located at Bahnhofstrasse 2-4 . The branch is now located there.
Superior courts
The District Court of Schwerin was superordinate to the Grevesmühlen district court. The competent higher regional court was the higher regional court in Rostock .
With the conversion of the local court into a branch of the local court in Wismar, the jurisdiction of the regional court of Schwerin and the higher regional court of Rostock remains.
