life and work

Erwin Noll's ancestors were carpenters and fruit growers .

After training as a cabinet maker and furniture restorer , Noll worked as an official restorer at the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation from 1970, specializing in Gothic panel painting and altars . From 1974 he then worked as a painting restorer in the Alte Pinakothek in Munich and during this time trained his technical skills with an internship as a gold and silversmith . From 1977 on, he worked as a freelance artist in Eggenfelden in Lower Bavaria , where he still lives today.

In addition, he works as a geomancer and Feng Shui consultant. Since 1992, Noll has dedicated himself to activating old areas of knowledge: geomancy , “sacred” geometry , form resonance , wave physics , archeology and the use of medicinal baths . He also works as a consultant and gives seminars and lectures. The research on the energetic information levels of the water led to the development of devices that store water energies and improve the drinking water quality.

In June 2017, a four-meter-high sculpture by Noll in the Skulpturenallee in Bad Homburg, Der Wächter , was installed at the entrance to Bahnhofstrasse after it had previously moved from its original location in Wiesbaden due to the construction work there in connection with the demolition and the new construction of the Rhein-Main-Hallen had been removed.
