Erwin Salzmann

Erwin Salzmann (born February 17, 1904 in Esslingen am Neckar ; † September 22, 1990 ) was a German auditor and factory director.

Live and act

After taking his Abitur in Esslingen, Salzmann did an apprenticeship in banking and studied economics and business administration at the Technical University of Munich and in Tübingen with a degree in business administration. During his studies and afterwards he made further practical training in the fields of industry, trade and fiduciary management. From 1931 on he worked as an auditor and authorized signatory of the Rheinische Treuhandgesellschaft in Mannheim . In 1939 he joined Christian Dierig AG in Langenbielau in Silesia , where he was a member of the board. In 1945 he was active in the war, a year later he returned from Soviet captivity as a war disabled and took up his position on the board of Christian Dierig AG, whose headquarters have meanwhile been moved to Augsburg . He was now also the managing director of Textil-Treuhand GmbH Augsburg and held other mandates and management positions, including vice-president of the Augsburg Chamber of Commerce and later its honorary member. The Honorary Senator of the University of Augsburg was a member of the Bavarian Senate from 1968 to 1973 .
