Erwin Stein (politician)

Erwin Stein (born April 20, 1930 in Nuremberg ; † February 6, 2009 in Grünwald ) was a German politician ( CSU ).

Stein attended elementary school and high school in Amberg . He completed his commercial apprenticeship and high school and then studied economics at the Universities of Erlangen and Munich . During his studies he became a member of the Teutonia Prague fraternity in the winter semester of 1953/54 . In 1958 he obtained his diploma in economics and then worked for the association in Munich. This was followed by an examination and approval as a tax agent and a tax advisor examination. From 1963 he worked as a freelancer in Munich , and he was also a leader in organizations of the liberal professions at state and federal level.

Stein belonged to several committees and boards of the CSU. On May 14, 1968, he moved to the Bavarian State Parliament for the late Heinrich Pflüger . There he was a member of parliament until 1994. He won the direct mandate in the Munich-Moosach district four times .
