features

The slim, black abdomen measures around 21 millimeters. The first three segments of the abdomen are covered with a bluish dust. The thorax and legs are also black , with the former being crossed by a yellowish green stripe. The face is also black with the exception of a few metallic blue-black parts, such as the forehead. The transparent hind wings of the males are about 24 millimeters long and about 6.5 millimeters wide at the level of the wing triangle. The wings are slightly brown in color at the tips and the base. Since the basal spot is significantly smaller than that of Erythrodiplax unimaculata , Borror called this species parvimaculata .
