Eschers
Eschers is a deserted area in the Elm district of the town of Schlüchtern in the Main-Kinzig district in Hesse .
Geographical location
The desert is at a height of 360 m above sea level , about 2.5 km east of Elm. The Escherer district lies east of Brandenstein Castle in the direction of Vollmerz . The exact location is not known. It is believed to be in the area of the Escherberg.
history
The village was in the office of Brandenstein of the rule and later county of Hanau . It was referred to as a desert as early as 1431 and has been a field name since 1596 .
