Food & drink for every day (spelling: eat & drink for every day ) is a monthly pocket-sized cooking magazine from the Hamburg publisher Gruner + Jahr . The first issue appeared in September 2003. Since July 2016, Essen & Trinken has been published for every day by G + J Food & Living GmbH & Co. KG, a company of the DMM publishing group. The sold circulation is 65,767 copies, a decrease of 79.1 percent since 2004.

Eating & Drinking for Every Day publishes recipes and tips for the kitchen and household. According to the publisher, this is the first cooking magazine to be published in pocket format (128 mm × 190 mm). The format and other design elements were subsequently adopted by a competitor. Jamie Oliver's collaboration with competing Lecker magazine is seen as a reaction to Tim Mälzer's involvement in Eating & Drinking for Everyday .

Food & drink recipes for every day are developed in the Food & Drink editorial team . Tim Mälzer contributes some of the published recipes , he is also the magazine's advertising partner. The dishes presented in the magazine are photographed in our own photo studio.
Jan Spielhagen has been the editor-in-chief of Food & Drink for Every Day since July 2014 .

From May 2004 until the program was discontinued in 2007, Tim Mälzer worked for Schmeckt nicht, ist nicht auf VOX with food & drink for every day . The collaboration was continued as part of the VOX program Born to Cook from August 2007, but the program was discontinued after six episodes.

Cookbooks are also published under the name of the magazine. Eating & drinking for every day also took part in the eat'n style trade fair . Under the title Schnell! Easy! Delicious! the magazine published a weekly calendar for 2013 and 2014, respectively, which was published by DuMont Calendar Verlag.
