The Estádio Nacional de Chiazi is a football stadium in the Angolan city of Cabinda in the province of the same name . The Futebol Clube de Cabinda plays its home games in the facility.
history
Construction began in March 2008 and the opening took place on December 30, 2009. It was built for the 2010 African Cup of Nations. The construction of the stadium cost 85 million US dollars and was carried out by the Chinese construction company China Jiangsu International Group. The arena has 20,000 seats and is further provided with VIP - boxes with 204 seats; a press stand with 104 seats; 68 handicapped accessible places; two large video walls and around 2,000 parking spaces. The tiers of the sports facility are completely covered.
2010 African Cup of Nations games in Cabinda
The games of the Togolese national football team did not take place. The team left two days before the tournament after a terrorist attack .
