Esther-Maria Mikfeld

Esther-Maria Mikfeld (born February 26, 1934 in Wiesbaden ; † November 1, 2005 ) was a Hessian politician ( CDU ) and former member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

After graduating from secondary school and business school, Esther-Maria Mikfeld worked as a secretary in publishing from 1952 to 1957 and as a secretary in the scientific research institute of an industrial company from 1957 to 1960. From 1960 to 1980 she worked in a tax consulting office and since 1980 in the office of the Hessian state parliament.

Esther-Maria Mikfeld was married and has two children.

politics

Esther-Maria Mikfeld had been a member of the CDU since 1967. Since 1970 she has been the district chairwoman and since 1971 deputy state chairwoman of the Women's Union . Since 1977 she has been a member of the federal executive committee of the Women's Union and since 1979 treasurer of the Office for Civic Women's Work eV in Wiesbaden.

For her party she was active in local politics in Wiesbaden as a city councilor from 1972 to 1981 and from 1985. On June 25, 1973, she moved into the 7th Hessian state parliament as a replacement for Fritz Kramer , to which she was a member until November 30, 1974.
