Etmadpur is a small town in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh .
Etmadpur is located in the north Indian plain in the Agra district . The city is located 20 km east-northeast of the district capital Agra on the national highway NH 2 ( Kanpur- Agra). The Yamuna flows east 6 km south of Etmadpur.
As a city, Etmadpur has the status of Nagar Palika Parishad . The city is divided into 25 wards . At the 2011 census, Etmadpur had 21,897 inhabitants.
