Eugen von Brockhausen the Elder

Eugen Heinrich Karl Sigismund von Brockhausen (born October 17, 1811 in Mittelfelde in the Dramburg district , † February 15, 1869 there ) was a German manor owner and member of parliament.

origin

His parents were Heinrich Otto Brockhausen (* December 1, 1783; † January 19, 1863) and his wife Charlotte Wilhelmine Juliane von Unruh (* February 23, 1792; † August 17, 1831). The State Councilor Karl Christian von Brockhausen was his uncle.

Life

After attending the Gymnasium zum Grauen Kloster in Berlin, Eugen von Brockhausen studied at the universities of Bonn and Berlin. In 1832 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . He completed his legal clerkship in Szczecin. At the end of the 1830s he took over the management of his manors in Mittelfelde and Klein Mellen . He was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives .

family

He married Anna Ida Friederike Albertine von Klützow on June 3, 1837 in Berlin (* April 7, 1849, † January 2, 1894). The couple had several children:
