Eugene Fodor

Eugene Fodor (born March 5, 1950 in Denver , † February 26, 2011 in Arlington County) was an American violinist .

life and career

Fodor studied with renowned professors such as Ivan Galamian , Josef Gingold and Jascha Heifetz at various universities such as the Juilliard School in New York and the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Fodor won numerous national and international competitions, such as the international Premio Paganini in 1972 or the Tchaikovsky Competition in 1974.
