Eugenie Primavesi , called Mäda, b. Butschek (born June 13, 1874 ; † May 31, 1962 ) was an Austrian actress and art patron .

She was particularly committed to the Wiener Werkstätte , which her husband Otto Primavesi (1868–1926) ran, whom she met at a performance in Olomouc and married him in 1894. After differences of opinion about the Wiener Werkstätte, which had got into financial difficulties, he transferred his shares to her, resigned as managing director on June 25, 1925 , and the couple separated. After Otto's death in February 1926, compensation proceedings were opened against the company in May 1926.

The marriage of Otto and Eugenie Primavesi resulted in four children.

Gustav Klimt drew the portraits of Eugenie Primavesi and her nine-year-old daughter Gertrude Primavesi (1903–2000), also known as Mäda , in 1912 and 1913 .

Her honorary grave is located in the Vienna Central Cemetery (Gr. 56A, R. 15, No. 27)
