Eugenius Birch

Eugenius Birch (born June 20, 1818 in Gloucester Terrace , Shoreditch , † January 8, 1884 in Laurieston Lodge , West End , Hampstead) was a British architect and engineer .

Life

Among other things, he constructed fourteen important piers in England. He had a patent for a special type of pile foundation. Among other things, he used metal products from the Laidlaw family to furnish the piers in Victorian style.
