Eura Mobil is a motorhome and former caravan manufacturer based in Sprendlingen in the Mainz-Bingen district, Rhineland-Palatinate .
history
In 1959 the Blessing KG was founded and the production of caravans started. In 1969 Meier KG was taken over and its company name was chosen. It was sold under the brand name Eura Caravan. The production of motorhomes began in 1983, at the same time the name was changed to Eura Mobil GmbH . The production of integrated motorhomes began in 1996 and partially integrated motorhomes in 1997.
In 1999 the subsidiary EMS GmbH was founded for guided motorhome tours with Eura Mobil Tours and services with the Eura Mobil Card. The Karmann-Mobil company was taken over in 2000. An additional assembly hall was built to double the production area. This was followed in 2002 by the construction of a new production hall for Karmann-Mobil and the opening of the RV forum, a communication and information center for RV users as an advertising and sales platform. This was completely destroyed by arson in 2014.
On February 1, 2005, Eura Mobil was taken over by the international motorhome group Trigano .
