Coordinates: 35 ° 55 ' S , 150 ° 6' O Eurobodalla Shire is a local government area (LGA) in the Australian state of New South Wales . The area is 3,428.2 km² and has about 37,000 inhabitants.
Eurobodalla is located on the southern coast of the state about 190 km east of the Australian capital Canberra and 300 km south of the metropolis Sydney . The area comprises 106 districts and villages, including Batehaven, Batemans Bay , Bergalia, Bodalla, Broulee, Congo, Dalmeny, Durras, Eurobodalla, Kiora, Long Beach, Malua Bay, Mogo, Moruya , Moruya Heads, Mossy Point, Narooma , Nelligen, Nerrigundah, Potato Point, Tilba Tilba, Central Tilba, Tomakin, Turlinjah and Tuross Head. The Shire Council is based in the coastal town of Moruya, which is home to around 2,500 people.

The Eurobodalla Shire Council has nine members who are elected by LGA residents. Eurobodalla is not divided into districts. The mayor of the council is also recruited from among the councilors.
