The EUROMASTER GmbH is a company for tires - and Auto Service. It is a subsidiary of the tire manufacturer Michelin . Euromaster operates 2,300 branches in 17 European countries and employs 11,800 people, including around 2000 in Germany. In Germany, Euromaster operates 350 of its own service centers and franchise operations. The head office is in Mannheim .
history
The company was founded in 1991 by changing the name of Sarona GmbH, which was founded in the 1980s. In 2003, Euromaster took over Viborg GmbH . This in turn emerged in 2001 from the company Gummi-Mayer founded in 1919 and the company Stinnes-Reifendienst founded in 1958 .
In March 2012, the company committed as part of a campaign to mark the 20th anniversary of the German New Wave band Extrabreit for a new recording of the already once of these successfully interpreted classic For me it red roses to rain from Hildegard Knef .
In 2013 the company was honored for the fourth time in a row by the specialist magazine Autoflotte as the best tire service provider with the Fleet Award .

From June 2015, Euromaster was to be converted from a pure car tire service provider to a full car service provider under the leadership of the new German managing director Andreas Berents. Berents wanted to gradually convert all service centers in car repair shops. All- season tires were also advertised intensively in order to take the pressure of the massive incoming orders in the winter tire season off the workshops.
In 2017 the company headquarters with 130 workplaces was relocated from Kaiserslautern to Mannheim .

Customers are natural as well as national and international legal persons (companies). The largest fleet that the company signed with Michelin in 2011 is that of Deutsche Post with around 30,000 vehicles .
