Euromomo (also EuroMomo; proper spelling mostly EuroMOMO or EUROMOMO ) has been a project since the end of the 2000s for the continuous and real-time monitoring of excess mortality in large parts of Europe. 18 European states, the four parts of the United Kingdom and the two German federal states Berlin and Hesse are now affiliated to it.

The study center at the Statens Serum Institute in Copenhagen publishes a weekly status report as well as scientific articles.

The data recorded by Euromomo represent more than 350 of the approximately 450 million inhabitants of the European Union and Switzerland . Of the 27 EU member states, however, all Central Eastern and Southeastern European countries are missing with the exception of Hungary and Iceland , but above all 14 of the 16 federal states in Germany and thus more than 70 of their over 80 million inhabitants. The four parts of the United Kingdom are recorded separately, so that data from 24 countries flow together and can then be called up separately (alphabetically): Belgium , Berlin , Denmark , England , Estonia , Finland , France , Greece , Hesse , Ireland , Italy , Luxembourg , Malta , Netherlands , Northern Ireland , Norway , Austria , Portugal , Scotland , Sweden , Switzerland, Spain , Hungary, Wales .
