European Master of Business Sciences

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The integrated European course, founded by European universities (EMBS consortium) with the support of the EU , has been taking into account the new requirements for university education in business administration (and also economics ) that result from the creation of a common European market since 1991 . The close cooperation between European universities and the mutual recognition of study periods to be completed abroad as well as coursework and examinations to be achieved there offer students the opportunity to acquire business (economic) specialist knowledge with a European focus in a reasonable time. The concept of integrated courses is designed within the framework of cooperation between certain European universities in such a way that the graduates can qualify according to the requirements of the European labor market.

In Germany , the EMBS offers the opportunity to acquire an international master’s degree without major effort, in addition to the diploma degrees that are common here in business administration or economics. Due to the change from more and more diploma degrees to Bachelor / Master degrees , a restructuring of the EMBS is to be expected in the near future, especially for the participating German universities.

Admission requirements

As a prerequisite for admission to this course, it is required that the applicants belong to the upper third of a year with their pre-examination results (participants must be able to prove “outstanding academic performance” (grades from the intermediate diploma)).
