It offers in the autonomous region of Basque Country in Spain services such as fixed network - telephony , mobile telephony , Internet and cable TV to. The company was founded in 1997 . The legal form of the company is a Spanish public limited company.

Until the end of 2006, Euskaltel had a mobile phone agreement with Amena (now Orange ), and from 2007 the company will operate as a virtual mobile phone operator in the Vodafone network.

The President of Euskaltel is the former Basque Prime Minister José Antonio Ardanza .
