Eva Šebová started for ŽP Šport Podbrezová . In the 2005/06 season she took part regularly in the European Junior Cup and ran there several times on single-digit placements. The highlight was the 2006 European Junior Biathlon Championships in Langdorf , where the Slovakian finished 29th in the individual, 38th in the sprint race, improved to 30th place in the pursuit race based on it and finally finished eighth in the relay . Šebová had already celebrated her greatest international success two years earlier. At the first European Summer Biathlon Championships in 2004 in Clausthal-Zellerfeld , she initially took part in the junior races. In the sprint she was eleventh, in the subsequent pursuit race she slipped back to 17th place. For the mixed relay race, Šebová was appointed to the A team of Slovakia, in which she was used as a starting runner. With Bibiana Švejkovská , Radovan Cienik and Davorín Škvaridlo , she won the bronze medal behind the representatives from Russia and Germany.
