Career

Evan Hoyt has already played over 200 matches on the ITF Junior Tour. He only played with wild cards at the Junior Grand Slam tournament in Wimbledon from 2011 to 2013 in singles and doubles. He only survived the first round there once. His best ranking was a 53rd place in January 2013.

For the pros, he played regularly on the third-rate ITF Future Tour from 2013 . Here he also won his first two titles in doubles and was also among the top 1000 players in the tennis world rankings for the first time . In singles, he didn't manage to do this until 2015, the year he also won his first two individual titles in futures. In total, he had won three singles titles and nine doubles titles by the end of 2018. After 2017, when he barely played, 2018 was his best year so far. After good results in futures he was also able to take part in the higher endowed Challengers for the first time . In Traralgon he won his first singles match of this level against Blake Ellis , in doubles he won the title alongside Wu Tung-lin in his first ever challenger in Canberra . A little later on November 12th, he was in doubles with place 266 at his career high, in singles he reached it with place 440 two weeks earlier.
