Evangelical Lutheran Parish Church (Ichenhausen)
The Evangelical Lutheran parish church in Ichenhausen , a town in the Swabian district of Günzburg ( Bavaria ), was built in 1920/21 through the renovation of a residential building. The Evangelical Lutheran parish church at Günzburger Strasse 40, on the corner with Ettenbeurer Strasse, is a protected monument .
The hipped roof building with gable and ridge turret was bought in 1920 by a Jewish family (see also Jewish community Ichenhausen ) and then rebuilt.
The result was a room with an almost square floor plan, which is vaulted by a needle cap barrel. In the east there is a drafted choir . The west side has a gallery . The lower windows are designed as biforias and the upper area has large arched windows.
The spruce stalls are adorned with Art Nouveau ornaments.
