History and architecture
The late classicist hall building with a polygonal apse and central portal risalits on the long sides was built from 1876 to 1878 by the building officer Overbeck. The Romanesque west tower was included. The building works and quarry stone was plastered. An extensive restoration was carried out in 1973.
Furnishing
The three-sided galleries are clamped between floor-to-ceiling wooden supports.
Ernst Klassmeier created a new organ with 16 registers in 1877. It was replaced in 1975 by Detlef Kleuker behind the historic prospectus. The instrument has 15 registers, which are divided between two manuals and a pedal. A new pipe field was added to the parapet.
The bell, on loan, was cast by Gottfried and Siegmund Götz in 1668.
