Angel head dated 1728

The Protestant church is a listed church building in Bauernheim , a district of Friedberg in the Wetterau district ( Hesse ).

The small rectangular building was built in 1493 and modified in 1728. The Gothic choir was demolished in 1847 and rebuilt on the old foundations . The church is equipped with a flat wooden barrel ceiling. The balustrades on the galleries are painted.

The bells with the striking notes e 2 and f sharp 2 come from the Rincker brothers (1950 in Sinn) and Johann Wagner (1669 in Frankfurt), whereby the larger and newer bell is a replacement for one cast by J. and A. Schneidewind in 1729. There was also a third, smallest bell made by Ph. Bach & Sons (1862 in Windecken). Both were drafted in the world wars.
