Baumbach Evangelical Church

The Protestant church is a listed church building in Baumbach , a district of Alheim in the Hersfeld-Rotenburg district ( Hesse ).

History and architecture

The simple hall structure with verschiefertem tower attachment was 1800 champion Phillip Noll from Rotenburg built. The interior is from the time the church was built. The pulpit is behind the altar .

The church stands in a former military cemetery , of which the pointed arch portal from the 14th century has been preserved. In front of it is the old court with a stone table and the rest of the surrounding wall bench.
