Evangelical Church Oestrich
The Evangelical Church is a listed church building in Oestrich , a district of Iserlohn in the Märkisches Kreis ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).
History and architecture
The hall church made of quarry stone with a 5/8 choir closure was added to an existing tower from the 13th century by Gerhard August Fischer from 1905 to 1907 . The previous building, an east-facing hall church from the 15th / 16th centuries Century determined the orientation of the building originally planned as an extension. Due to the asymmetries of the gables, extensions and offsets, the complex has a picturesque effect. The tower was raised. In the interior, ribbed vaults rest over smooth columns. A west and a south pore are built in. The equipment was purchased in 1907.
