Evelyn Grill

Evelyn Grill (born January 15, 1942 in Garsten in Upper Austria ) is a writer living in Linz on the Danube .

biography

Evelyn Grill studied law in Linz and from 1980 published as a freelance writer in literary magazines and on the radio. From 1986 she lived in Freiburg im Breisgau .

Awards

• The novel Vanitas or Hofstätters Begierden was nominated for the German Book Prize in 2005.
• In 2006 she was awarded the Otto Stoessl Prize for the novel The Collector .
• 2017: Culture Prize of the Province of Upper Austria
