Evelyn Gyrcizka
Evelyn Gyrcizka (born August 18, 1953 in Vöcklabruck ) is an Austrian university teacher , painter, graphic artist, object and textile artist . She lives and works with Gerhard Müller in Vienna .
Live and act
Gyrcizka studied from 1973 to 1980 at the University of Applied Arts Vienna with Grete Rader-Soulek and Herbert Tasquil . From 1985 she was a lecturer at this university in the field of tapestry . She has been a member of the Künstlerhaus Wien artists ' association since 1985 . In 1990 she accepted a working grant from the City of Vienna's Department of Culture.
The artist works in the fields of book art, graphics, painting, object and textile art.
Since 1976 she can refer to numerous solo exhibitions and participations in exhibitions and has been participating in art fairs since 1996 .
