Evelyn Palla (* 1973 ) is a South Tyrolean manager. She has been CFO at DB Fernverkehr since March 2019 . Previously, Palla was a member of the board of directors of ÖBB-Personenverkehr AG and chairwoman of the supervisory board of Postbus AG and Postbus GmbH .

Life

Palla studied business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration from 1992 to 1997 with a guest semester at the University of Cologne with a focus on corporate management , controlling and accounting . After completing her studies, Palla initially worked at Siemens UK from the end of 1997 to September 1998 in the Operational Plant Controlling department . She then worked as a consultant for product controlling at Infineon Technologies . In 2002 she moved to the Austrian Chamber of Commerce in Tokyo , where she worked as a budget and controlling officer.

In 2003, Palla moved to E.ON in Munich , where she worked as a consultant for planning and the controlling system. From 2006 to 2008 she was involved in setting up E.ON subsidiary E wie einfach , she was responsible for setting up the company's controlling and reporting. In 2008, she moved to E.ON Italia in Milan to head the controlling department, where she said she took on her first commercial position.

In 2011 Palla moved back to Vienna , where she began working for ÖBB-Personenverkehr AG, initially as Head of Controlling, then also as Head of Purchasing. In December 2015, along with Valerie Hackl , she was appointed one of three members of the board of directors of ÖBB-Personenverkehr AG and chairman of the supervisory board of Postbus AG and Postbus GmbH. There she was responsible for the areas of local and regional transport, legal, controlling and purchasing.

In November 2018, ÖBB announced that Evelyn Palla would switch to Deutsche Bahn from March 2019 . Initially, an appointment to the management board of DB Fernverkehr AG was planned, later a change to the management board of the DB Group was planned. Due to discrepancies in the Supervisory Board, in March 2019 she took over the position of CFO at DB Fernverkehr AG, a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn.

Palla is married and has three children.
