Evelyne Okonnek

Evelyne Okonnek (* in Bietigheim ) is a German fantasy author .

Her first book The Daughter of the Snake , which appeared in 2006 during a one-year break from work, was awarded the Wolfgang Hohlbein Prize in the same year and therefore appeared in Wolfgang Hohlbein's series Masters of Fantasy . She grew up in Bietigheim, studied German and Spanish at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen and worked for an advertising agency in Stuttgart . Today she lives in Nehren near Tübingen . In addition to writing, she paints and plays theater.
