Evgeni Kozhevnikov (born October 29, 1981 in Leningrad , Russian SFSR ) is an Israeli ice hockey player who has been playing for HC Bat Yam in the Israeli ice hockey league since 2014 . His twin brother Michail also played in Germany for many years and is also an Israeli international.

Career

Evgeni Kozhevnikov began his career in the second team of the Ratinger Ice Aliens , for which he played lower class. In the following years he changed the club in quick succession, where he was mainly active in North Rhine-Westphalia. Only with the Neusser EV it lasted longer. During this time he had German citizenship. With interruptions he played a total of five years in Neuss.

Since 2014 he has been playing with his brother for HC Bat Yam in the Israeli ice hockey league . With the club he became Israeli champions in 2016 and 2018 .

International

For the Israeli national ice hockey team , Kozhevnikov and his brother took part in the 2017 World Cup in Division II for the first time. He also played in Division II at the 2018 World Cup .
