Evgenia Rubinova

Evgenia Rubinova (* 1977 in Tashkent ) is a German pianist .

Life

She grew up in Tashkent ( Uzbekistan ). At the age of twelve she won the Russian International Piano Competition. She later graduated from the Gnessin College of Music and Academy with honors. She attended masterclasses with pianists such as Vladimir Krainev and Alexei Lyubimov , performed with various symphony orchestras and gave piano recitals in the major concert halls in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Minsk, Novosibirsk and Tashkent.

Evgenia Rubinova later moved to Frankfurt am Main and from 2000 studied at the Frankfurt University of Music in the master class of Russian-American professor Lev Natochenny . Today she teaches piano at the Leopold Mozart Center in Augsburg .

Awards

  • First prize at the Russian International Piano Competition
  • 2002: Winner of the DAAD competition
  • Winner of several competitions in Italy, including the Cittá di Cantù piano competition and the Concorso Casagrande international piano competition in Terni in Umbria
  • She won the “Meranofest Solo Recital Award” in Merano three times in a row
  • 2003: Silver medal at the Leeds International Piano Competition
