action

During construction work in Athens, three workers discover a huge cave system that is not shown on any map. During the following exploration, the trio comes into contact with a mysterious virus that changes them forever - although they forget any memory of the incident. In the evening, the three colleagues mutate into instinct-driven, murderous creatures who seek the life of their fellow human beings. Through bites, they transmit the pathogen to unsuspecting victims, who in turn chase after the living. The scenario, which occurs en masse, soon develops into an apocalyptic threat to the metropolis.

With the help of the neighbor Marina, 14-year-old Jenny, daughter of a construction worker who was infected for the first time, escapes the excesses of violence. On their escape, the two women encounter the armed Meletis and a long-suffering soldier from the Greek army. Three other survivors join later - the gruff Dimitra, the narcissistic taxi driver Argyris and a random passer-by. With the certainty that no outside help is to be expected, they try to find their way out of the contaminated city. On the way they are again attacked and decimated by infected people (the film suggests that they are zombies).

The four survivors, Jenny, Marina, Meletis and elite soldier Vakirtzis, flee in an open end to a stadium, where they are surrounded by a vast number of infected people. Her further fate is unknown, as the production ends abruptly at this point.

Reviews

The lexicon of international film describes the production as a “ horror film with the usual stereotypes and an excess of disgusting effects, which suffers just as much from its poor staging as from the inadequate camera work. "
