exceL Esports is a UK esports organization based in London. It was founded in 2014 by Kieran Holmes-Darby. exceL has teams in League of Legends , Hearthstone and the Mythic Dungeon Invitational from the online multiplayer role-playing game World of Warcraft . In January 2019, the team will compete in the highest European League of Legends European Championship (LEC) for the first time.

League of Legends

In December 2015, a professional League of Legends team was founded. During the 2016-2018 seasons, the team played mainly in the UK ESL Premiership , and even won the 2017 ESL Premiership Autumn Finals.
For 2019, the team bought a place in the Spring Split in the highest European League of Legends League (LEC). The team finished the split in penultimate place
