Eyran Katsenelenbogen (born July 5, 1965 in Israel ) is a jazz pianist .

From the age of five, Katsenelenbogen received piano lessons from Aida Barenboim, the mother and teacher of the pianist and conductor Daniel Barenboim . He began to devote himself to jazz at an early age and was signed to the record label Jazzis .

In 1996 he received a lectureship at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston , where he still teaches today. He presented his last CD solo tude on his European tour in September 2006 in Hummers Kultursalon in Soßmar . In October 2007 he met the classical concert pianist Andrei Ivanovitch for the first time there , in order to start the first joint tour Classic meets Jazz with him .
