Ezé Wendtoin

Ezé Wendtoin (* 1991 in Ouagadougou ) is a musician and songwriter from Burkina Faso who lives in Dresden .

Life

Wendtoin comes from a family of drummers , pastors and blacksmiths . His mother tongue is Mòoré . He learned German in Ouagadougou, later he graduated from the university with a bachelor's degree in German studies at the University of Ouagadougou and a master's degree at the TU Dresden . As a musician, he toured France while studying. Wendtoin plays drums, guitar and Burkinabe instruments. He is committed to the topic of racism and covered Konstantin Wecker's song Say No! ",which received a lot of attention on social networks in April 2019. For the music video he was able to win over celebrities such as the actors Frederick Lau and Kida Khodr Ramadan . In August 2019, Trikont Musikverlag released his album " In between Dazwischen ". He is a member of the Banda Internationale .
