Félix Fermín Marín , full name Félix Fermín Marín González (born February 21, 1952 in San Pedro ) is a former Paraguayan football player .
Player career
society
The goal-scoring midfielder Marín, who stood out for his speed, joined the Paraguayan club Cerro Porteño at the age of 14 after being "discovered" by Juan Zimberliz . There he first played in the youth teams. He started in the Cadete Division . His path then led through the other teams in the age groups (Infantil, Juvenil) up to the Primera División . There he made his debut at the age of 18 in the game played in the Estadio Puerto Sajonia against the General Caballero Sport Club and was in the squad of the first division team at least from 1971 to 1975. Marín himself mentions seven seasons of his association with the club in an interview. With the team he won the national championship title in 1972, 1973 and 1974. He also took part in the 1972 Copa Libertadores with the capital city club . There he contributed two hits in the 3-2 win on March 23, 1972 against Sao Paulo.
In Greece he played for the Athens club Panathinaikos , which was supervised by Ferenc Puskás at the time , but left the club again due to excessive demands on the part of Cerro Porteño. An engagement with The Strongest La Paz in Bolivia is also recorded.
National team
Marín was also a member of the Paraguayan junior national team , which took part in the 1971 South American Junior Championship in Paraguay and won the title. He later also played for the senior national team.

Coaching career
Marín has been a trainer since 1984. He looked after the teams from San Pedro, Ovetense, Yhú, Germania and Choré. In 2010 he was in charge of training at the Campeonato Nacional de Interligas for the U-19 in San Pedro.
