Félix Tiemtarboum

Félix Tiemtarboum (born November 20, 1935 in Donsin , Ivory Coast , today Burkina Faso , † June 9, 2013 in Paris ) was a military, politician and sports official from the West African state of Burkina Faso.

After studying mathematics, physics and chemistry in Paris , he completed a military career in the armed forces of Upper Volta , today's Burkina Faso. He achieved the rank of colonel. From 1971 to 1976 he was Minister for Youth and Sport, from 1980 to 1982 Foreign Minister under President Saye Zerbo . After his fall, he became a football official, president of the national association Fédération Burkinabè de Football and the US Ouagadougou club .
