The third solo album by the German rapper Weekend is Forever Weekend . It was released on April 24, 2015 on the Chimperator label as a standard and limited edition, including instrumentals and remix EP, and is distributed by Groove Attack .

Forever Weekend entered the German album charts at number 1 on May 5, 2016, and in the following weeks it was 58 and 91 before it left the top 100. This was the first time the rapper reached the top of the chart. In Austria the album was placed at position 16 and in Switzerland at position 38.

The first music video for the song Willkommen Zuhaus was released on January 19, 2015 . Videos for the songs Happy Birthday , Forever Weekend , Loser and Sunburn followed .

Laura Sprenger from laut.de rated the album with two out of a possible five points. She says that “the one-sided processing of the topic” and “the unbelievably monotonous presentation of the rapper” lead to “annoyance” and “irritability” over the length of the album, although individually considered none of the tracks is really bad.

Christian Weins from MZEE described the weekend as “quite well produced”, but accuses the artist that he lacks the “substance” to be able to “convince on an album.”
