The 880 meter high Fürberg is one of the smaller mountains in the front Bavarian Forest in the municipality of Kirchberg im Wald .

At the summit is the Plattenstein , an interesting rock formation with a summit cross and a view to the south to the higher Brotjacklriegel . A little further down is the Fürberg chapel, which can be reached from Untermitterdorf via a crossroads. The Fürberg can be climbed on several hiking trails in a short time, starting points are the small villages of Raindorf, Untermitterdorf or Berneck.
