The Fürstenwald district is a district in the northeast of the city of Chur in the Swiss canton of Graubünden . It essentially consists of a forest area and is known for the «Fürstenwald» cemetery, the largest in the city. The architect of the facility was the Chur architect Urs Zinsli, the landscape architect was Dieter Kienast from Zurich. The Waldhaus psychiatric clinic is also located in Fürstenwald .

The area is accessed by line 2 of the Chur bus line . Chur's largest recreation area begins at the Fürstenwald terminus above the psychiatric clinic.

The Fürstenwald district borders the Masans district to the west .
