FA Cotton Medal
The FA Cotton Medal for Excellence in Chemical Research has been awarded annually by Texas A&M University since 1995 and is named after Frank Albert Cotton .
The medal shows the octachloridodirhenate (III) ion, on which Cotton first recognized a quadruple bond in 1964 .
