FP Journe is a Swiss watch company based in Geneva . The manufactory was founded in 1999 by François-Paul Journe.
The motto of the brand is Invenit et Fecit ( Latin for invent and implement ) and is intended to express that the company builds the watches completely independently. Many watch manufacturers use basic calibers, for example from ETA SA or Unitas , which are then processed further. FPJourne often creates new movements, with complete new systems, such as the resonance - chronometer , which houses two movements in one case. Although the two balance wheels of the two movements are mechanically separated, they vibrate synchronously.
The founder François-Paul Journe is a member of the watchmaking association AHCI . FPJourne is a sponsor of the AHCI's youth development program.

- 2002 - Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève (category special award of the jury ) for the Octa Calendrier .
