The FC Ajka is a Hungarian football club , who in the summer of 2001 through the spin-off from the total club Ajka SE has emerged (founded 1923). For years, the club was mainly in the 3rd division at home, before being promoted to the 2nd division for the first time in 1978, where they established themselves in midfield, before relegation followed again in 1982. In the following years, Ajka also consolidated his reputation as an elevator team, which always oscillated between second and third class.

Between 1987 and 1993 the association was called Ajka Hungalu SK . The blackest chapter in the club's history followed under the name Ajka LC when the club was relegated from the 3rd division and only played at county level (Megyei Bajnokság). This period lasted until 1998, then followed the promotion back to the 2nd division, which you had to leave again and again in the meantime. In 2007 she returned to Nemzeti Bajnokság II .

The stadium (Sport utca 23) holds 5,000 spectators.
