history
On April 1, 1905, the first Poznan football club, Britannia, was founded in the local city with the club colors black and red.
FC Britannia Posen became a member of the Southeast German Football Association (SOFV) in 1909 .
FC Britannia Posen was once a Poznan football champion .
The club only took part in the Southeast German Football Championship in 1913 , when they were eliminated 1-0 in the preliminary round against SC Preußen Breslau .
During the First World War , football competitions were interrupted in large parts of Germany , including in Poznan. After the war, Poznan fell to Poland , which caused gaming operations to collapse. This made FC Britannia one of many German sports clubs that dissolved after the respective areas belonged to Poland.
