The FC Montenegro Wuppertal was a futsal club from Wuppertal . The team once took part in the DFB Futsal Cup , the German championship in futsal.
history
In the 2007/08 season the club was able to qualify for the first-class WFLV Futsal League and was promptly runner-up behind UFC Münster . The Wuppertal qualified for the DFB Futsal Cup 2008 , where the team failed in the group stage at TSC Stuttgart and VfV 06 Hildesheim . In the following years, FC Montenegro became an elevator team . In 2011 the ascent succeeded, which was followed by direct relegation . After only one year in the second division, the club was able to rise again to the WFLV futsal league. Again, the Wuppertal only remained first class for a year before the team relegated bottom of the table . At the end of the season, the club was dissolved.
